Scholarships for MSc Students of the Faculty of CISM
In addition to MSc scholarships and bursaries awarded by Kingston University, the Faculty of Computing, Information Systems and Mathematics awards the following MSc scholarships for UK and International students on its taught full-time postgraduate courses.
Postgraduate CISM Teaching Assistant Scholarship
Who can Apply?
Any student applying for a taught full-time postgraduate MSc course in the Faculty of Computing, Information Systems and Mathematics with a confirmed offer of a place for the next academic intake (September or January).
MSc Scholarship Details
The Faculty of Computing, Information Systems and Mathematics is offering ten awards of £1,500 for its taught, full-time MSc courses.
Students selected for the award will be required (for max 40 hours over the year) to:
- assist with undergraduate classes for between four and six hours per week (excluding the weeks when attending modules); and
- act as an ambassador at Faculty promotional events.
Selection Process
Selection is by application only and applicants must:
- Have a good academic record
- Provide a statement of 500 words explaining why they think they would make a good ambassador for the course and the faculty.
* Please note that applicants cannot be awarded more than one scholarship.
Submitting an Application
In order to apply for a scholarship, you are required to fill in and submit a CISM Scholarship Application Form (PDF) 31 KB.
The application must be typed and printed.
Application Deadlines
The deadlines for receiving your application for scholarships are:
- 31st July for September intake
- 30th November for January intake
Applications received after this deadline can not be considered.
